Integrating Third-Party Lighting
In both Ketra Only and Ketra with HomeWorks QS installations, Design Studio supports the integration of third-party lighting loads into the Ketra system.
In Ketra with HomeWorks QS installations, we recommend integrating third-party lighting to the Ketra system rather than HomeWorks QS; you can do so via DMX output from an N3 Satellite. See DMX Output.
After integrating (in either kind of installation), you will be able to include the third-party fixtures in scenes just like Ketra lights. For each scene, you can configure the lights’ intensity, color settings, and/or other parameters depending on the fixture and the integration method. In Ketra with HomeWorks QS installations, you can then import those scenes into HomeWorks QS. In Ketra Only installations, you can assign them directly to Ketra keypad buttons, contact-closure inputs, and shows.
